Juventus Rekindle Interest in Affordable Nice Stalwart

Juventus continue to keep tabs on Khephren Thuram, who’s likely to depart Nice at the end of the season since his contract ends in 2025. His extension talks haven’t gained traction so far, also because director Florent Ghisolfi is on his way out.

According to Nice Matin (via Calciomercato), the midfielder could leave for a reduced fee considering the situation. A €15/20M offer could be enough to convince his team to let him go and avoid risking him losing for nothing in a year.

Juventus kicked the tires on Thuram last summer, but Nice wanted €60M, Tuttomercatoweb’s Mirko Di Natale informed. He recently switched his agency, hiring Sport Cover. The Bianconeri might have to overhaul their midfield given Adrien Rabiot and Weston McKennie’s uncertain future.

The Old Lady will be on the hunt for affordable targets given their precarious finances. On the other hand, several sides will track the Nice star if he becomes available. Inter, where his brother Marcus plays, and Milan could also be in the mix.

The Bianconeri will welcome back Arthur following a solid loan spell at Fiorentina, Fabrizio Romano reports (via Tribuna). They’ll look to sell him to limit the damage since he joined with an inflated valuation in a swap with Miralem Pjanic back in the day.
